This was what my step daughter had been wanting for months & she received it from us as a Christmas present. She wasn't particular about the color & at the time, this was the only color I could find at a reasonable price. When it was first used, my step-daughter thought it didn't work right, or that it only worked on random mode (or something like that). After I asked if she read the instructions, she went and read them. We immediately heard from her that it works just fine. She hadn't read the instructions and hadn't set it properly. So I do advise reading the instructions. My step daughter is 11 and figured it out just fine once she read them. It's really a cute little clock. We did stock up on batteries to be safe. As long as it's not used as a toy, it doesn't seem to be running through them overly fast, so we are very pleased overall! It also came quicker than the ETA that was listed.

This item was shipped quickly and it works great!!! I love how loud it is because I sleep through everything. I wish I could have the alarm stay on every morning so I wouldn't have to reset it every night. A small price for a great product.

This alarm clock broke before we even put batteries in it. How it is supposed to be able to handle "jumping" off your nightstand when it breaks before it even has batteries in it is a mystery to me. Total piece of junk,

Alarm clock broke 3 days after we received it and started to use it, the construction is poorly made. I don't recommend this product.

The picture of the item is very misleading. The package is not the original, it is a fake from china. If you look at the picture of the package at the bottom of all the pictures, the packaging is not the real on. This clock is not the original, but the chinese copy. It will break very fast, so I will recommend buying the real version from this website. It is worth 40 dollars rather than buying a bad one for 20 dollars.

If this alarm had been around when my oldest son was still at home...he would have been much easier to get out of bed in the mornings!

Battery door screw broken when first installing batteries; duct tape or return? You guessed it, return! Seriously; I''m highly mechanically inclined and used to working on things like laptops, etc. One wheel was wobbly like it wanted to fall off from the beginning as well. As the title says, it's dollar store style quality. The whole debate over fake or real; well; it was in a box that said "Clocky". Proper commercial packaging, looked like it's their genuine article; sad because if this is the real thing; the fakes must be awe-inspiring works of well... "stuff".

When I bought this a year ago, I don't think there were as many awesome colours to choose from, but I'm glad there are now!

Having said that, i love this little guy. He has survived rolling off of my desk, bed table, dresser, and bookshelf hundreds of times and always gets me awake, I have an issue with waking up; often with normal alarm clocks and clock radios I wake up just enough to turn it on then fall back asleep, waking up hours later never even remembering the alarm going off. With this thing, even if I go back to sleep, I remember getting up and chasing it down first!

The noise Clocky makes is perfect; its like a cute little robot running around excitedly beeping me awake. Its nice to be woken up in that kind of energetic way instead of the normal "annoy you awake" kind of sound most alarm clocks put off.

My only real issue with Clocky is the battery life: it is terrible. If you don't use the wheels, it'll last a long time, but that breaks the whole point. Also, the display starts flashing at "low battery," but that low battery warning seems to start a fifth of the way into the battery's actual life, so you never really know how much battery is left.

I would buy this product again in a heart beat if I ever managed to break my first one, but remember to use rechargeable batteries and keep a back-up alarm on just in case!

If this doesn't wake you up.....your dead and won't have to worry about work. Works like a charm and cute ta boot. My girlfriend was in love with it....until it went off and caused a mild riff in our relationship.

Just a novelty item. I got one for my brother and on first run his dog killed it. He has severe problems getting up in the morning, but there are better options, namely alarm clocks that wake you up gently and gradually vs. making you pop out of bed and chase it.

Getting access to the battery compartment takes a small philips screw driver, which was annoying.

The instruction on how to configure this were in very poorly translated Japanese, I eventually had to google how to set it up.

It does not move the first time the alarm sounds, it only moves after your first snooze has expired.

The movement is very slow, it's NOT a lively fun chase about the room... it moves at a crawl, so if you left it alone for 5 min it might be at the other end of the room when you crawled over it to. Pretty lame considering the way it looks.

The LCD screen is poorly lit and hard to read, the over all construction is poor, after a couple of nights I got a low battery indicator and just chucked it out.

Bought this clock for my son this past Christmas. Clock broke in less than two months. One wheel broke off after it rolled off his nightstand.

I love the concept of this alarm clock, but I was dubious as soon as I opened the packaged. The box look used and as if it was missing some packing material. The clock also had fingerprints on it so had clearly been handled. The directions were included, but I had to search a bit for the English (several pages in). It was however, very simple to set up. The main problem is that the Clockie is supposed to jump off your bedside table (advertised at 3 feet) but on the very first attempt, from only two and a half feet, to cushy carpet, the wheel broke off the clock. Since the price was very cheap compared to the original "Clockie" website I wonder if this was more an issue of the seller pushing a cheap knock-off. We returned it the next day.

The clock is helping our grandson get up each morning when he would love to sleep in. It does it's job.

First of all, lots of people selling fakes here, I got one too, it was a cheap piece of junk, the seller isn't listed anymore so hopefully amazon dealt with them.

What prompted me to get this as a gift is the fact that I'm almost impossible to wake up and i get up in a haze and shut off my alarm and don't remember doing it, I've tried so many things to get me out of bed and get out of the haze at least to the point where I am cognizant enough to get started with my day. Another problem is that I over time tune out the noise of even the loudest alarm clocks.

It seems well made, it's light with heavy rubber treads on the wheels, very loud alarm, you can't adjust the volume but it's a good volume for the hard to wake which i think is the target market.

The good. It works! But not in the way I imagined. What makes it the most effective for me is the sound of it thudding onto my carpet and the irregular beeps and boops get me up fast, I can't tune them out because it's not a consistent sound so far. It gets me up fast and I hit the 9 minute snooze and the 2nd time I"m good to go. I like that you can adjust the snooze time from 1 to 9 minutes. It looks slick on my entertainment stand, I like the design quite a bit. The alarm is a good loudness, fairly loud, enough to get anybody up but not ear splitting like some alarms i've had.

The bad. I didn't knock it much for this because it says "it does not work on shag carpet." but this is a bit misleading. There is not shag carpet but standard medium or high pile carpet in my room but it pretty much can't move on it, sometimes it can but most of the time it doesn't make it more than a foot. When the wheels rotate, the body rotates the opposite direction and counteracts the wheels by digging into the carpet. It works fine on floor but every room i've ever lived in in carpeted, this wouldn't be an issue if the wheels were 1/4 inch bigger in diameter. Nanda Home is missing a valuable opportunity by not selling slightly larger carpet tires, I would buy them in a heartbeat. I"m going to try and tape some foam rubber to the wheels and hope it works better on carpet.

Perfect alarm clock for deep sleepers I use it everyday and when the alarm goes on I pretty sure the people downstairs hear the alarm too lol the only thing is that it is military time so it can be confusing

Unfortunately, the clock arrived broken. When we first put batteries in it, the digital time display was unreadable. We returned the clock.

MY daughters friend had this same alarm clock. Naturally, my daughter wanted the same one. Though her friends alarm clock was damaged and was no longer mobile after a few uses, I got one for her. After working the first two times, it no longer worked. I would have returned it, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle.

We love our Clocky alarm clock; it rolls away if we don't get up to turn it off! The cutest alarm clock on the planet.

My 5 year old niece needed a good alarm clock for her first year in kindergarten. I bought this one because it had great reviews. She got it for Christmas and upon tearing into the box like little kids do, we found out that something was defective where the time is displayed. Typically, such items have a sticker over the display with a generic time printed on it. This one was no exception except for the fact that there is no sticker. Either that or the item was defective and the sticker is literally underneath display. Either way, there is a big 12:00 over the display that makes it impossible to read the real time displayed and that includes setting the alarm or any of the other functions. You cant read anything becaue of the 12:00 over it. Its useless. We have tried so hard to remove this mystery phantom sticker that now the display is scratched around the edges. Very disappointed that I wasted all that money on an alarm that you cant read the display and is unusable. Unsure if anyone else had this problem with it or this one is just defective but Id try to find it in person before buying online again.

It works so well i wake up before it goes off most of the time. Fun way to wake up.

So. Loud. It is extremely effective at waking up even the heaviest sleeper. It's durable, too. Mine has rolled off the desk dozens of times and still works fine.
